Google Search Console — vodič za početnike

Google Search Console je besplatan alat koji pokazuje kako vas Google vidi. Vodič kako da ga postavite i koristite za SEO.

Google Search Console is one of the most important SEO tools — and completely free. While Google Analytics shows what people are doing on your site, Search Console shows how Google sees your site. Without GSC, SEO is a guessing game. In this guide, we explain how to set it up and use it.

What GSC shows you

  • Which keywords do you appear for in Google search
  • How many clicks you get from Google
  • Which pages are indexed (and which are not)
  • Technical issues with the site
  • Core Web Vitals Performance
  • Mobile usability problems
  • Manual actions (penalties from Google)

How to set up GSC

  1. Idite na search.google.com/search-console
  2. Add property — your site URL
  3. Verify ownership (DNS record, HTML file, GA4, or Tag Manager)
  4. Wait a few days for Google to collect the data

Key Reports

Performance

Most important report. Shows: total clicks, impressions, average CTR, average position. You can filter by query (keyword), page, country, device.

Intention. sort by impressions, find keywords where you have impressions but few clicks (e.g. position 8-15). Optimize those pages — there's a quick SEO win.

Pages → Indexing

Shows which pages are indexed and which are not. If an important page is not indexed, something is wrong.

Sitemap

Submit an XML sitemap to speed up indexing. Rank Math generates a sitemap automatically.

Core Web Vitals

Shows the performance of your pages on mobile and desktop. Working on "poor" and "needs improvement" pages gives quick results.

Mobile Usability

Mobile version issues — text too small, buttons too close, viewport not set.

Enhancements → Structured data

Indicates whether Google is reading your schema markups correctly (Product, Article, FAQ, LocalBusiness).

How to use GSC for growth

  1. Follow “low-hanging fruit” — keywords at positions 8-20 to be pushed into the top 10
  2. Identify your strongest pages and optimize them further
  3. Find pages with high CTR and write similar
  4. Correct technical issues as soon as they appear
  5. Test new URLs using the URL Inspection Tool
